Wish I'd saved a few pounds and gone for a savannah room again as it does make a difference, and looking at the car park is a bit dull. Both experiences to see the giraffes and how to be a zookeeper were open to normal day guests so nothing special and definitely not worth paying for.Animal Meets - OK, I paid extra as you know if you've read all this. We don't see giraffes everyday hence the reason we paid to see them up close so at least enjoy our excitement!Overall, the experiences with the animals do make it special, but I do feel I give more higher ratings because of this! When we got to the room it was a double. The bin wasn't emptied either someone else rubbish was already there. !The room was lovely, the rides were perfect (for a 7yo and 4yo), the food was delicious and the evening entertainment for kids meant that my husband and I could kick back and enjoy some drinks.The pool was warm and great for the age of our kids, and the staff have always been friendly, courteous and informative. We had tried to order balloons and a birthday gift for my son but it didn't go through so on arrival we were able to book it and it was in our room waiting when we returned from dinner. Yes the little room challenge to get a pop badge is fun, but the room overall was dark and without the view, it's just another room comparable to a Holiday Inn. I really enjoyed this place last visit and my daughter and I had some happy memories, in fact she constantly nags me to stay here again, so I booked for a zootastic weekend in November when the park is closed.
